The importance of professional photography and videography at your wedding

The importance of professional photography and videography at your wedding

Can you remember what happened 10 years ago at an event or wedding without looking at photographs?  The time that was really before mainstream iPhone camera technology with everyone documenting every second of life?  You perhaps wouldn’t remember the colour of the flowers, or what a guest was wearing – even the decor on the tables.

After the cake has been eaten and the flowers have wilted, your wedding photographs and video will be expertly edited and sent over to you, to keep forever.  This is generation memory making where you will be able to share family albums with your grandparents, children and grand children one day.  These are the photos that will make them giggle at the fashion and styles of the 2010’s and create nostalgia.

A lot of our clients ask if videography is worth it and I wholeheartedly agree it is.  One of our most treasured possessions is our wedding video from 2008 and still watch it to this day and can hear the waves crash on the beach in Edinburgh, hear us laugh over the vows and listen to the speeches of our favourite people – Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man.

Below you will find a comparison of our photographs on the left and videographers on the right. Thanks go to our lovely videographers that we work with, some of which have became friends!  You can find their details listed below.
