I recently worked with Auriol from HR Fiit who is an HR consultant in Gerrards Cross. We met together at We Are Tabono networking events and small business support network for women in business. I have the privilege to be Tabono’s resident expert on all things visual branding and got to talking to Auriol about her photography.
Auriol had recently left her corporate job and was in the process of setting up her own consultancy HR business. She was in the process of working with a website and graphic designer to create the new website and branding and then needed the supporting imagery to go alongside the new brand. The branding colours and design dictated the location, look and feel of the shoot.
Auriol has recently moved into to Spaces coworking offices in Gerrards Cross where her office is located so it made sense to do the photoshoot there where her clients recognised as her personal workspace.
We considered going outdoors and had a change of outfit ready to go; but decided that it wouldn’t be something that she needed at this moment or for a while and decided to do a few more office based images instead.
We knew that this would be Auriol’s key library imagery for the brand so as she progressed and started using her images she would see any gaps in the library and plan to do a shoot update further down the line where necessary to fill in those gaps.
One of the key components was the need for Auriol to be presented as professional yet approachable in a relaxed, friendly working environment. The Spaces offices were perfect and used multiple locations including her desk, a high worktop space, the breakout room, a lounge area, the atrium and the coffee shop space.
This allowed us to utilise the space and having reality throughout the session to make it all fit cohesively together and a beautiful set of images with variety of backgrounds.
Auriol has since use the images for her social media, website and marketing updates. It was a pleasure working with Auriol and excited to see her business grow and develop with the imagery playing a small part of that.
