Family Photographer Bracknell – At home newborn family photo shoot – You know those funny encounters that happen, will this was one of them!
In 2019, I photographed my little boy sat in a carved out pumpkin on the green outside our home – as you do! One of our neighbours saw the mini shoot, found us on Google as photographers near me and enquired about a photo shoot for her little one due in 2020!
We recently had the photo shoot at home and loved every minute of it. It was super relaxed, on babies time, comfortable at home and in an environment where the kids were relaxed and in a familiar environment.
How we started the photo shoot
To start the session, we focussed on the elder child to get him really relaxed in front of the camera, complete with Doggy! Once he was settled, we added baby and photographed their relationship. Sometimes toddlers don’t want to hold the babies; but asking them to find where the babies nose is, count their fingers, makes for really engaging images. So don’t worry if they don’t feel like it, we will get there!
The photo shoot locations
After photographing around the house, we headed outdoors for an extended shoot and visited the local park for lovely Autumnal family portraits. Play time is always great for keeping older children engaged and we had such a lovely time.
