As the Pinewood Studios Wedding Photographer, some couples book us as their photographer with 6 months to go until their wedding, others book us 2 and a half years in advance!

We like to stay in touch with our couples as they journey though their wedding planning, with a new baby card here or a new home card there; others we have glasses of wine with on Skype with the whole family for hours planning the wedding!

It’s those that have a passion for photography and know what they are looking for that trust you to capture them in the way they have envisioned their day for years. It’s those that have trusted our opinions as professionals on different aspects of the day, not just “taking a few snaps”.

This blog is about that type of couple! Rachael and Damian celebrated their wedding in July this year and booked us early 2015. Together we’ve talked lots over the years and been through several house moves and holidays; Steve and I felt as if we had known the families for years, not just there to do a job.

We met at Pinewood Studios wedding fair as their recommended in-house photographer, and this is where their special day unfolded.  They said their “I do’s” in their family church and went onto Heatherden Hall for their reception. It was a glorious summer afternoon and we celebrated with group photographs, lawn games, iconic photographs of the Pinewood Studios sign at sunset and of course who could forget the sparkler shots too!

It was so wonderful to see the day that has been spoken about for so long finally come together and be everything Rach and Damian could have imagined.

Here is a sneak peak into our favourites from the day – enjoy!
