St Peter’s Church Farnborough and The Barn at Bury Court Farnham Wedding Photographer: Charlie and Tom
Family churches and quaint barns make for the most gorgeous weddings; even in the pouring rain!
Charlie and Tom celebrated their beautiful wedding day at Charlie’s family church; St Peter’s in Farnborough on a pouring day in November. Even though it was a bit damp, that didn’t put a dampener on everyone’s spirits – it was a magical day.
Charlie arrived at the church with her 5 bridesmaids; sisters, sister in law and close friends who helped her carry her dress and cover with an umbrella as she walked up the leaf covered pathway to the church oak doors. They took a few minutes to compose and walked in with her Dad to the organ playing as she walked down the aisle. Tom’s reaction to seeing his bride was priceless. The ceremony was full of personalised moments with readings and prayers for the couple; it was such an occasion to witness.
As the grass was a bit too wet to do any big group photographs outside, the best men did a wonderful job in chaperoning everyone around in their seats to have a fantastic aerial view group photograph. You can just see how many people wanted to celebrate with Tom and Charlie and makes for a wonderful moment.
Their wedding reception was held at The Barn at Bury Court in Farnham; a converted barn that blends old oak beams with versatile modern touches, the grounds are spectacular with hidden gardens, ornate towers and great lines of trees – we love a good tree alley! By this point the rain had held off for a few more family and bridal party group photographs; aren’t the colours just beautiful? It really suits this winter wedding. The couple had dressed the tables with festive flowers, the fairy lights around the venue added that sparkle to the evening photographs and evening entertainment.
Enjoy looking through the images below, it gives a great overview of the day.
Biggest congratulations again to Charlie and Tom.
