Wasing Park Wedding Photographer: Hayley and Tony
You know one of those real festival vibe days, the sun is shining, everyone is chattering with a beer or prosecco in hand, the Wasing Park castle barn is your red brick backdrop and the kids are all playing giant lawn games in the shade; you just step back and take in the whole scene and it really is the perfect, relaxed wedding day that Hayley and Tony had wanted.
The day went without a hitch from the perfect weather, to the relaxed family members and the beautiful bride who was quite possibly the most chilled out bride on the morning of her wedding – ever! The day started in the the bridal suite with the 4 tiny little flower dresses hanging up next to Mummies wedding gown and Aunties bridesmaids dress. The rose gold sandals and canvas Team Bride bags dotted around the room, punctuated with the stunning fresh flowers from Funky Flowers, really brought the details together. As the girls got ready, I played a few little games to keep the little bridesmaids entertained, so that the bride and her sister could finish getting ready. Hayley looked a vision with relaxed hair with dots of gypsophelia in the plaits at the back. As she revealed her finished look, both Mum and Dad cried and everyone hugged. It was an emotional morning!
We walked through Wasing Parks quirky buildings from the Dovecote, the Mushroom House and through the pebble walkway to the Summer House – an outdoor purpose built space with the most beautiful painted detailing on the inside, for their outdoor ceremony. There wasn’t a dry again as Hayley and Tony said their I-Do’s, they posed for photographs and walked out as Mr and Mrs.
The rest of the day saw sunshine, sipping of drinks and smiles. The couple had asked for a handful of group photographs, and wanted to focus on more of a documentary candid approach. After the wedding breakfast, we slipped the bride and groom away for 10 minutes with a prosecco and created a series of beautiful golden light sunset portraits; aren’t they dreamy.
It was a gorgeous day and we cannot thank you enough for having us be a part of it; congratulations Hayley and Tony.
