Choosing a Wedding Photographer
Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the top 3 weddings decisions a couple will make after date and venue. Our role is to capture your beautiful day from the moment you apply your makeup to when you are partying with your guests on the dance floor! We are there to support you, as well as photograph! We’ve helped clean wedding dresses, fetch bouquets, do up backs of dresses, have stashes of tissues and mints if needed!

It can be daunting looking for your wedding photographer, but the one thing that has been told over and over again from our clients is how much we put them at ease throughout the day and that we weren’t in your face taking hours to take and style 3 portraits. It’s not about the photography on the day, it’s about you guys celebrating and spending time with friends and family.
It’s the real moments in wedding photography
At Summers Photography, we have been photographing weddings since 2007. To sum up our photography style, would be vibrant, colourful, relaxed and raw. Raw is a funny word, but we look for those raw moments, looks of love that nobody else would notice, the moments of glancing looks and those giggles or tears being wiped away. It’s also how we work your portraits and groups, we will prompt you to stand, walk, sit, play in specific places to work with the light; it’s unscripted, it’s you guys, it’s raw and real moments.

Need to ask a question?
How do I book for our wedding?
Simply call, send us a message through www.summers-photography.co.uk or contact us through Facebook. All weddings require a booking fee of £500 along with a signed contract to secure your wedding date.
How early should I book with you?
I would suggest booking 12+ months in advance. During popular wedding months (May – September) 12 – 18 – 24 months in advance. The objective is to get the conversation going as early as possible to avoid missing out.
Do you travel?
We absolutely LOVE to travel. We are available for out of area weddings or destination weddings. Ask me about our destination rates.
Can you recommend suppliers for our day?
I certainly can. You can find a list of preferred suppliers on our blog – look under weddings.
When can I expect my wedding photos?
You can expect to receive your photos within 4 weeks of your wedding.
How many photos will I receive?
500 photographs on average depending on coverage, amount of guests and events on the day.

We don't hold images back
We don’t see why we would keep all your images and charge you per image. We want to share all of the images that we take and redeem the best quality of our art and your wedding day. Expect to receive on average 500 images from the day.

Steph and Steve and the best photographers I have ever met. They provided the wedding photography for our wedding day and as someone who hates having their picture taken, they made every moment enjoyable. All of our guests commented on just how great they were. They are both so warm, friendly and constantly smiling which is just infectious.
Mark and I chose Summers Photography based on seeing what an amazing job Stephanie and Steve had done at Mark’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. We had a very difficult time on the lead up to our wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions but Steph was so understanding and supportive beforehand which meant we had one less thing to worry about.
On the day, Steph and Steve were both amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers to capture our special day. They were extremely organised and made sure all of the shots we’d asked for were taken with ease and on time. All of our guests loved them and commented on how brilliant they were all through the day.
