As a Windsor Wedding Photographer, I was thrilled to photograph Kiran and Sunita’s wedding at the Guild Hall, Windsor over the summer. It was my latest booking ever, the night before! Sadly their original photographer couldn’t make it and they found me online. I was all too happy to help thankfully I didn’t have anything booked in for that morning!
Their ceremony was an intimate affair, just them and 7 closest family members to witness the marriage. The registrar celebrants were fantastic, so down to earth and really added a personal touch to the celebration.
As they said their I Do’s, the portraits of former kings and queens looked down at the scene and everyone giggled when the 11am changing of the guards marched past and you could hear every footstep! Such a magical touch that you just find in Windsor!
It was the busiest Saturday I have experienced in Windsor in a long time, not Harry and Meghan wedding busy, but close enough! The couple wanted a few group photographs and portraits, so we utilised the space around the Guild Hall and the guards were accommodating outside the castle on Castle Hill for the perfect picture post card wedding portrait!
The couple whizzed away in their gifted classic wedding car to the 5* hotel Cliveden; a five star country house hotel on Cliveden Road near Taplow. The Italianate mansion, known as Cliveden House, crowns an outlying ridge of the Chiltern Hills and just a few miles from the riverside town of Maidenhead and Windsor. For the eagle eyed amongst you readers, Cliveden was also the location where the gorgeous Meghan Markle became a bride on the morning of the royal wedding!
