Wokingham Register Office Wedding Photography: Caroline and Mel

Caroline and Mel had a quintessentially festive wedding; a family orientated ceremony at Wokingham Register Office, onto a few picture perfect spots around Wokingham town centre and onto their favourite restaurant for a meal with their loved ones at Cote Brasserie private dining room. If you are looking to plan your Wokingham wedding and looking for Wokingham Register Office Wedding Photography examples, then read on!

I met Caroline as she came on one of my photography courses years ago, it was a delight when she asked if I were free to photograph her and Mel’s wedding. We planned the day before hand and the few hours I was with them went seamlessly. It was a great day and felt really adopted into the family; thank you Caroline and Mel.

After the ceremony, the couple went straight into a confetti blizzard and a beautiful group photograph. After a few images at the registry office grounds, we went for a walk down to the lake behind the building and had a few more important couple and smaller group shots. The lighting was PERFECT – golden light bathed our portraits.  As it was getting a bit chilly, we walked through town towards Cote Brasserie where the family and friends were dropped off and I whisked the couple away to the key photo areas – the huge Christmas tree outside the Wokingham Town Hall, back down to the Tudor House on the roundabout and the beautiful town houses with quaint and a few funky doors.  Even as we walked back to Cote, the driveway next door had wonderful light coming through which created some of my favourite images from the day.

Congratulations again to Caroline and Mel, and enjoy looking through this sneak preview of the day.
